Role Model, also known as Tucker Pillsbury off-stage, is an American pop singer and songwriter. He was born in 1997 in Portland, Maine, and grew up in Cape Elizabeth. He is now living in Los Angeles, California.
Pillsbury started out in the music industry as a rapper in 2016, releasing his mixtape “Since When.” Soon after this release, he changed his stage name to DILLIS and released his first album “Moth” in June of 2016. It did not gain much popularity or attention.
In 2017, he changed his stage name to what he is best known for: Role Model, and switched to singing. He released his first EP in Dec. 2017, titled “ARIZONA IN THE SUMMER.” Pillsbury was signed to Interscope Records in 2018. The following year, in 2019, he released his singles “the climb,” “inimal” and “oh, how perfect.” He also performed at the Lollapalooza music festival that same year.

Pillsbury released his first full album under the name Role Model (Rx), in April 2022. He then embarked on his world tour, “TOURx”. This tour and album really built his fan base.
Pillsbury is also widely known for dating YouTube sensation, Emma Chamberlain. Their relationship sparked in 2020, but it was kept quiet. Unfortunately, their relationship came to an end in late 2023. This breakup reportedly gave Pillsbury a lot of inspiration for his next album he would release.
Pillsbury released his most recent album, “Kansas Anymore” in July 2024, with its most popular song being “Look At That Woman,” reaching over 40 million streams on Spotify. He also had many songs from that album get popular on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. He will be joining her again when she comes back to North America for “The Secret Of Us Deluxe Tour.”
Pillbury went on his world tour, “No Place Like Tour” in Nov. 2024. He grew popular for his stage presence, fans specifically love when he pulls out a lucky fan from the crowd to join him during the song, “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out” as his ‘Sally.’
Pillsbury released a deluxe version of “Kansas Anymore,” titled “Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye),” on Feb. 14, 2025. It included four new songs, the most popular being “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out.”
