About The Headlight

Our 2023-2024 Staff

The Headlight is a magazine and website run by students at Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School. Our goal is to honor fellow journalist Ida B. Wells’ legacy by reporting on important news in marginalized and oppressed communities while honoring our school by providing its students’ the educational and entertaining articles that they have learned to love.
