Shayla Reuther is a junior at Ida. B Wells. This is her first year writing for The Headlight. Since COVID-19, Shayla’s dreams to write have begun to take off through writing experiences at school. She is excited to finally write for people. Outside of school, Shayla loves to cheer, starting her first year of All-Star cheerleading at Oregon Dream teams. She loves true crime, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. You can typically find her listening to a podcast, sipping a chai, and online shopping!
