Welcome to the first episode of the Back of the Booth, a sit-down-style interview talk show where we examine and explore the creative process of local musical artists. Today, we have shoegaze/indie-rock artist and IBW senior Gabriel “Westpine” Stromberg.

Giuseppe Lipari (he/him), Staff Writer

Giuseppe Lipari is a senior at Ida B. Wells who has been a staff writer at the Headlight for two years. He likes to write about music and pop culture. Outside of school he does a lot of theater and enjoys listening to music, watching old SNL and messing around on the electric guitar.

Vince Pascual (he/him), Copy Editor

Vince Pascual attends Ida B. Wells as a senior. This is his second year on The Headlight, and he hopes to write numerous articles sharing his opinions and dissections on music. During his free time, he lifts, listens to his record collection, and hangs out with friends. Once his time with The Headlight is over, he hopes to apply the skills he has learned to his future occupation as a music journalist.
