Sophia Ruby is a freshman at Ida B Wells high school. she takes interest in creative writing. Sophia’s passion was influenced through cinema and movies, wanting to create something so impactful and enjoyable. Through elementary and middle school she couldn’t find a fit class for her hobby, until she reached high school. in a climate surfaced around writing and creativity she found herself being able to express her passion in journalism. She learns and advances more and more everyday through the class. Although journalism isn’t her career path she still finds it helpful. When out of school she partakes in writing her own stories and journaling.
