Do you ever wonder why there is jazzy music in the halls during lunch? Going to lunch is simple and cozy, and coming back after lunch to some smooth sounds of classical music and pop? There is one freshman who has a great ear for smooth-sounding notes and their name is Lova Ellero.
Ellero’s love for the piano started at five years old, when most kids become conscious. They were lying on the floor in their house and heard the sweet sounds of the natural notes and black keys coming from their mother playing the piano. “It just grabbed me,” said Ellero
Captivating the young toddler mind of five-year-old Ellero, their mother signed them up for online classes called Hoffman Academy, but at the age of ten years old, Ellero said, “I just wanted to quit, and I didn’t know why, but I just fell in love with it again.” So at the age of 12, their mother signed them up for actual piano lessons. Hobbies come and go for many people. You love something at a young age and just lose interest. At a young age, many people have something they love and enjoy and they get burnt out, maybe due to parents being so on them about doing their interests, or they may find something new they enjoy. In Ellero’s story, they too seem to slowly lose interest. But there always seems to be one interest that always comes back instantly for Ellero is piano
Piano isn’t the only instrument Ellero knows how to play. This freshman shows a level of skill that very few adults achieve in a lifetime. They know how to play the oboe, a woodwind instrument that uses a double reed to produce sound, similar to the flute. With complex high-pressure breath control, it is known as one of the hardest woodwinds to master. They also know how to play the guitar, played the drums for a few years and are also learning how to play the Mandolin. Ellero also just loves music all around. Making music is one of their interests, from being able to structure and develop their own lyrics to mastering the art of all lyricism.
Ellero brings a warm feeling right when you walk out of your classroom to go get some food, and when you get back, they will still be at the piano playing religiously. It’s like Ellero gives you intro music and outro music to your day.
